My Thoughts On...

  IMDB's summary:  Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

  My summary:  a kick-ass chick movie with an awesome soundtrack - 90's music is the best!!!!

  My favorite character:  Captain Marvel herself - Carol Danvers aka Vers.  I've read some comic books & from them, I loved this character the main thing that makes her super is her human side, not her powers.  Plus, Brie Larson, excellent pick to play her!

  My likes:  Fury.  He was young & actually happy before all the Avengers.  Ha!  I really liked seeing him develop as a character in this movie & the respect/love he has for Carol & vice versa.  Also, his relationship with Goose is the best!  Ha, ha!  I also loved the soundtrack, all 90's music, you cannot go wrong.

  My dislikes:  the only one I can really think of is not seeing enough of this guy - Ronan.  He made his first appearance in Guardians & I was pumped to see more of him in this movie but sadly, I did not get enough.  Maybe the sequel?

  What I learned:  not sure that I really learned much but I do have some more questions - like how will Carol be able to help out against Thanos?  Is Goose still alive?  Why is that I only find Jude Law attractive when he is playing Dumbledore?

  Who would I recommend this to:  nerds who enjoy Marvel, girls that like to see some chicks kicking ass & people that want to see Goose's secret.  Tee hee!
